Had an amazing time in Houston this past weekend! We were actually there for TX2K17 but hit up a few car meets while in town, including the Final Formation meet. Houston has a keen eye for the classics and a lot of these cars were in awesome condition and very well built. Not only were the cars in the main area dope, the ones from people just hanging out were just as nice – we snapped a few of those on our instagram page so make sure to check those out. Anyway, a lot of awesome cars out there – here are some of our favorite shots.
David’s Mazda RX7FD never disappoints (he’s also one of the organizers of the meet).
Big fan of the BMW E36 and this one is so clean. Beside it was Cody’s red M3 which for some crazy reason, I did not get a photo of it – it was amazing as well.
Here’s a rear shot – not sure who the owner is but will update the post if I find out.
A very well put together Honda S2000 on Volk TE37 wheels. Looks pretty damn good.
For me, the TE37 is similar to the Enkei RPF1 in that it looks good on almost every ride – including the S2k.
Here’s the only photo I snapped of Cody’s red M3 – I did grab some video of it so make sure to check our YouTube channel for that. By the way, it was a pretty nice day in Downtown Houston.
Danny getting his RX7 FD3s looking extra clean.
Pecks had his 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT out – we featured his Skyline recently (Click for Video and Photos) and was happy to see it once more! It was Peck who actually told us about the meet so a big thank you for that!
Houston has a keen eye for classic and current Japanese cars… look at this lineup. Is the S2000 considered a classic? 😉
Kevin’s neck breaking 280z – check his IG for more!
Another shot of Kevin’s Datsun 280Z.
One of my favorite cars from my trip to H-Town was Bruce’s 1979 Datsun 280ZX. Looks so damn tough!
Had an awesome time and I’m always amazed on how inviting the import/tuner community is in Houston! TX2K was great but I really enjoy these meets – we need more of them as it really brings the car culture community together. It’s cool to look at these cars online, on your phone, etc… but it’s a whole different thing seeing them in person and also watching other people enjoy them. When kids who just happens to be at the park run into a meet like this… it’s likely it will inspire new minds to join the movement. A big shout out to the guys at Final Form USA who did a great job putting this meet together. Hope to be back in Houston soon! – Alex
