Made a quick stop at Texas Track Works in Fort Worth, Texas to check out their BMW M235iR factory race car on Enkei NT03+M wheels. There were only 51 of these allotted to the US and the guys at TTW were able to snag the very last one, number 51.
This is a factory built BMW race car which means it comes from the factory as you see it here with the exception of these 18×10 Enkei NT03+M wheels.
The headlights are standard from the factory as you would see on any street version of the BMW M235i.
Engine is an N55 3.0 single turbo with BMW Motorsport tune pushing about 330WHP.
These powder coated Enkei NT03+M’s are a popular choice for BMW guys who like to track their car. It’s a lightweight wheel with and extra ring/brace making it one of the strongest wheels available for street to track cars. Not pictured but it is also equipped with a Performance Endurance Racing 355mm big brake kit.
It came equipt with an H&R swaybar set with adj end links as well.
The suspension has been upgraded with a KW Clubsport Kit.
The interior is basically the factory standard with the addition of the roll cage and an OMP HTE-R carbon race seat with motorsports sliders. It also has a Lifeline FIA Novec 1230 fire suppression system.
Strangely, it even still has all the power windows in it as well. It also has air jacks which will help out tremendously on track when changing wheels and tires.
As far as weight reduction, it has all of the interior removed as far as carpet, back seats, etc. But it also has a lot of carbon fiber pieces such as the door panels and fuel cell. It has the large carbon kevlar fenders to accommodate the wider wheels. These BMW’s were built for endurance racing so it is basically stock with a safety, suspension, and weight reduction features. It is a very basic race car but very reliable, robust, and a lot of fun to drive. That’s about all the info I have on the car but I’m excited to see it on track this March. A big thank you to Forrest and the guys at Texas Track Works! Check out the video below where Forrest walks you through this awesome BMW race car.
